The next sweet installment from Lisa and Garry's Wedding

Wow, is it just me or are the days and weeks suddenly disappearing suddenly without warning? It feels like yesterday that Kirrily and I were spoilt with the task of capturing Lisa and Garry's wedding memories in the Hunter Valley, but of course it has been 5 weeks! Yes, time has flown, and so we felt it very important that we post an update to share more of this lovely day with you all.

Check out our cool, relaxed Groom, Garry and his super funny groomsmen.
Such fun to be around!

Lisa, our stunning bride with her equally as beautiful bridesmaids. Isn't that colour amazing?

Did someone say stunning?

Natural beauty and pure excitement... magical.

Some tender moments captured...

Of course, there is so much more to share... but it's way to hard to pick favourites!
As soon as we select our next run of "must share" images we will post them for all to see.
Until then, take care and cross you fingers... for Kirrily! She is way overdue to have this precious baby of hers and we are all hoping that tonight will be the night! Good luck Kirrily!

Carley shoots a sweet Nitro Family

This morning I put on my"Nitro Concepts" cap and headed off to meet up with Belinda, Dave, baby James and Max the wonder dog! With clouds looming we didn't waste a second in our efforts to capture some happy family images. Obviously James is one of the happiest babies on the planet! It's no wonder, though, as Dave and Belinda are amongst the most relaxed and easy going parents I have come across! I hope you are happy with the images guys, and I can't wait to see how these look as Art Mounts...

There are many more images to follow... Brad and Lisa at Nitro will let you know when they are ready for viewing. Until then, take care and thanks for making me feel so welcome in your home!

Young Love is Sweet...

There are so many reasons why families decide it's time to gather for family portraits. For the Peel family it was all about young love! Daniel and his girlfriend Sarah are celebrating their first anniversary as a couple and with Daniel joining the army soon they wanted to capture some special portraits to treasure during their time apart. These two were just the sweetest pair to work with, and I simply adored Sarah's cute and sassy style!

Of course, the opportunity to update the family portraits was too good to miss and so the whole Peel family came along as well. Let me tell you, the Peels are doing something right. They have raised 3 charming, funny and down right cool young men who made this shoot so much fun! I can't wait to share some more images of these boys being... well, boys!

Not only was this a super fun shoot for me, but is was also a chance for me to catch up with Judy, a woman I have admired and looked up to ever since I was a teenager. I learnt so much about motherhood whilst working alongside this beautiful lady in a pharmacy many years ago. Thanks for the life lessons Judy - I will be one proud mummy if my boys grow up to be as happy, confident and loving as yours obviously are!

Carley captures Kirrily's Sweet Anticipation

It's only a few weeks now until Kirrily welcomes her third child into the world... such a blessing. We have so many things to tick off our "To Do" list before this little bundle of joy arrives, and photographing the baby bump was one of them. I had seen an image a couple of years ago by a photographer called Jamie Ibey that inspired this image of Kirrily and her bump. I think it captures the sweet anticipation of the mother to be and celebrates the her beautiful shape. Let the countdown begin! We can't wait to meet sweet, little baby Rodwell!

Sweet Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

Yes, it was cold and grey outside today, but anyone who was lucky enough to be around Nicole and Bill felt nothing but sunshine! And while the rain was a disappointment, as we only had minutes to capture some sweet moments out on the golf course, it was shortlived.
Nothing could dampen the spirits of this blissful couple!

Bill and Nicole, I hope this evening was everything you hoped it would be... and more! You are such generous, happy and genuine people and you deserve all the 'luck' that comes your way (after all, it did rain on your wedding day!!.. sorry Nicole, I couldn't resist saying it one more time!). Congratulations to you, and your children.
They are so blessed to have both of you in their lives.

And so, after shooting two weddings this week Kirrily and Carley are feeling blessed to have the opportunity to do this work. We truly love what we do and we adore each and every one of our amazing clients and their families. We are simply bursting to get stuck into the processing work so that we can share more sweet memories before too long.

Until then - Happy Honeymooning to the Greco and Frendo Newlyweds!!

Lisa and Garry's Sneak Peek...

Well, we held our breath and crossed our fingers and wished and hoped and prayed that the rain would stay away just long enough for us to explore the amazing location Garry and Lisa chose for their wedding... and the result was something special indeed.

Lisa and Garry, it was such an amazing day!
We can't wait to share more of your images with you and you family.

But now Carley is off to capture some more sweet moments for yet another fabulous couple,
Bill and Nicole. I'm coming guys!

Carley's trip to Brisvegas was short... but sweet!

I love Sydney, and really wish all of my 'people' felt the same as I do. Sadly, there is an entire branch of my family that really believed the 'Beautiful One Day Perfect the Next' campaign. They made their home in sunny Brisvegas and never looked back. Despite the miles between us all we are still so very close, and relish every opportunity we have to spend time together. Quite a few weeks back I flew to QLD to join in my Aunty Linda's 60th birthday celebrations. Of course, we took the opportunity to capture some happy family portraits to update the family frames and albums. Working on these images has made me miss them even more than usual and I haven't even finished them yet! So, make sure you check back in a few days to see this post updateed to include the rest of the images.

Of course, toddlers and photo shoots don't always mix!

However, sometimes these moments are truly the sweetest!

Oh, how quickly a daddy can turn that frown upside down!

Sweet beginnings for Nigel and Di

Until Nigel and Di asked us to shoot their wedding, Kirrily and I had managed to walk through life without ever noticing that "same number" (cause its not quite a palindrome) dates and weddings go together. Sure we thought a mid-week wedding was cool - but we didn't realise HOW cool until it was pointed out to us. The coolest part for us, though, is that we had the privilege of capturing the moment that Di and Nigel agreed to be each other's sweetheart forever. We love our job!

Di was calm, poised and glowing in her crisp, white gown. We loved her choice of native flowers, especially the rich reds and nutty textures.

The ceremony was held at Castlereagh Hall, such a tranquil setting with a picturesque outlook. As you can see in the following image Di was overjoyed to be there, finally, walking down the aisle to marry her one and only.

The ceremony was beautifully officiated by Nicole Celeban. Both Nigel and Di listened intently as each promised themselves to the other. It's always our favourite moment (and Carley cries every single time!).

Meet the girls, Toni and Alexis, the two most attentive bridesmaids by far!

And now meet Damian. He's a great bloke - pity he is so shy in front of the camera. As you can see we really struggled to capture his personality....

Groomsmen are always great value and can be relied upon to keep everyone smiling and laughing as we shoot the location and formal images. However, we have decided that Errol (below) is THE BEST... hands down. Thanks, Errol, we really enjoyed having you around!

Di is a country girl through and through and just LOVES cows.
Such a pity they were not closer to the fence.

We couldn't help ourselves... with both Nigel and Di being correctional officers and all!

The country theme continued indoors at the reception with hay bales, native flowers and cow print decorating the hall.

Di and Nigel, thank you so much for allowing us to be present for this, your sweetest moment by far. We hope you will look back on your images and remember that the 09/09/09 was the beginning of what we hope will be a long, joyous and exciting life together. Congratulations once again!
