It's been said a million times, or more, that a picture tells a thousand words. Stories upon stories have been conjured and created from images, real and imagined, for as long as tales have been told. The truth is, even after all this time on earth, people need stories. Be it a bedtime story when the sun goes to sleep, or a photo album that chronicles the birth and growth of everyone beloved, stories tell us so many things about ourselves that we need to know for sure. The treasured photographs that adorn our homes tell our loved ones that they belong, they are treasured and they are loved above all else.

This month, we want to celebrate these stories by giving you a free 11" x 14" storyboard print, valued at $120.00, of your family... being you.

To be eligible, you must be one of the first six clients to book a Storytelling Session with us by June 30th 2011. Sesssions must be held before
September 30th and the offer only applies to clients who
purchase either our "Crisps" or "Creams" packages.

First comes love then comes....

....weddings and babies! We feel so lucky, in fact privileged, to have been able to share in all of those sweet moments with the Dyson family. Baby Mackinnley's naming Day was yet another such occasion, one held on the family property, surrounded by loved ones near and dear and watched over by those gone too soon. I always feel uplifted after spending time with this family. They remind me that every moment we have together truly is precious, and that these moments deserve to be captured, recorded and treasured always both in our hearts as well as in the frames on our walls. So, Mark and Sara, thank you yet again for inviting me into your lives and trusting me with the task of documenting such sweet events. I hope the sample below makes you smile xo

Home Sweet Home

Despite having known Trev all of my life, it has been YEARS since we have seen one another. So, it was wonderful to see each other again on a cold and frosty morning and finally meet the loves of his life... his wife Alli and daughter Lexie. After living and working overseas for so long, Trev and Alli recently returned home to introduce Little Lexie to their family and friends who were simply bursting with anticipation to finally have them on Aussie soil. So, guys, welcome home!
It is wonderful to have you back...
looking forward to seeing each other more often and
watching Lexie grow before our very eyes!

Sweet Dreams are made of this....

Finding the perfect partner and creating a family together is what so many of us dream about, and those of us who have been lucky enough to turn our dreams into reality will understand how precious these images will be to the Cini Family as time goes by.
Perhaps , one day, these images of Savannah playing tea parties and pushing her baby brother in a dolly pram will sit next to images of Savannah with her own babies in prams, all grown up, with a family of her own.
Those precious images will stand as proof of sweet dreams realised... documented... and shared... and revisited through photography year after year. A priceless record of a family's growth, love and life lived... sweetly.

A Mother is a Blessing from Above

On a glorious Saturday afternoon, I met with Sandra and her adorably spunky little boy at the park in Richmond for a very special Mother's Day shoot. We were blessed with Sunshine to warm this chilly afternoon and it was a nice accompaniment for the warm loving bond that is held between a mother and a child. Surely, the definition of a child, amongst many things, is to warm a mother's heart and bring a little ray of sunshine to your sometimes dismal day. What sweeter way to end this day than with an afternoon of cuddles, giggles, tickles and a milkshake and memories which warm the heart.
