Sweet Dreams are made of this....

Finding the perfect partner and creating a family together is what so many of us dream about, and those of us who have been lucky enough to turn our dreams into reality will understand how precious these images will be to the Cini Family as time goes by.
Perhaps , one day, these images of Savannah playing tea parties and pushing her baby brother in a dolly pram will sit next to images of Savannah with her own babies in prams, all grown up, with a family of her own.
Those precious images will stand as proof of sweet dreams realised... documented... and shared... and revisited through photography year after year. A priceless record of a family's growth, love and life lived... sweetly.

A Mother is a Blessing from Above

On a glorious Saturday afternoon, I met with Sandra and her adorably spunky little boy at the park in Richmond for a very special Mother's Day shoot. We were blessed with Sunshine to warm this chilly afternoon and it was a nice accompaniment for the warm loving bond that is held between a mother and a child. Surely, the definition of a child, amongst many things, is to warm a mother's heart and bring a little ray of sunshine to your sometimes dismal day. What sweeter way to end this day than with an afternoon of cuddles, giggles, tickles and a milkshake and memories which warm the heart.

Carley still has more catching up to do!

Yes, I'm still catching up on the sharing and blogging and posting - but it kind of makes me happy because I get to revisit these wonderful sessions and recall the sweet moments that made me smile. The star of the Thomson family shoot (besides their amazing daughter who called me Karlia - which I totally loved and may change my name to in the future!) was yellow bear. It was he who overcame shyness and eventually loved having his picture taken ;) I love that this family will look back on these images and recall yellow bear and the special role he played in their daughter's life. Thankyou yellow bear, it was a pleasure to meet you!

Just catching up...

This year, one of my resolutions was to stay up to date with our blogging. Ooops, I guess that's yet another New Year promise broken! So, in an effort to redeem myself, here are some more lovely, relaxed images from the Land Family shoot featuring the adorable Bailey and Addison and their loving parents.

More from Carley's Trimble Family shoot

I caught up with the Trimble family again, just before Christmas, to capture some more family fun. This is a favourite of mine, I love how it depicts the stage babies go through when they realise they can actually crawl AWAY from their parents!

Another sneak peek from Carley...

Babies grow up?! Yes it's true - and here is the proof!

This afternoon's shoot was also a mums and bubs session, however, this time the bubs were not so tiny! Still, as sweet as can be and delightful in everyway, these sisters and their daughters made me laugh and smile until the sun went down!
The girls wanted to create a special gift for their father on his birthday... you know what? I think he's going to love it!
