Catching up after the Christmas and New Year Chaos!
Now that the holiday season has come to a close and the children are ALMOST back to school (2 more days and counting...), I thought it was high time I got back into the swing of things here in the office. It's time to catch up on editing and post processing those last minute Christmas shoots that were squeezed into the schedule between chasing lost Christmas Lay-Bys and packing for holidays! So, to all my families waiting for pics - I'm back and on the job!
And just because no post is complete without a photo, here is one of my favourites from the Land family session. Addison and Bailey are in my favourite holiday pose looking all relaxed and stress free. Maybe I'm not quite ready to get back to work after all?
Happy 2010 - Carley xo

Carley meets sweet baby Paelyn

I've said it before, but I'll say it again... newborns are my favourite things in the whole, wide, world. They fascinate me in so many ways, and they remind me that miracles do happen. It amazes me that we can grow a whole new person right there inside of us, and shooting newborns reminds me of my own treasured experiences. So, to be able to help Bec and Matt capture this special time in their lives is truly a blessing to me, and what a beautiful shoot it was with little Miss Paelyn sleeping and feeding sweetly the entire time. Thanks so much to Bec and Matt for welcoming me into your home and allowing me the opportunity to create some sweet memories for you to treasure always.

The next sweet installment from Lisa and Garry's Wedding
Wow, is it just me or are the days and weeks suddenly disappearing suddenly without warning? It feels like yesterday that Kirrily and I were spoilt with the task of capturing Lisa and Garry's wedding memories in the Hunter Valley, but of course it has been 5 weeks! Yes, time has flown, and so we felt it very important that we post an update to share more of this lovely day with you all.

Did someone say stunning?

Of course, there is so much more to share... but it's way to hard to pick favourites!

Check out our cool, relaxed Groom, Garry and his super funny groomsmen.
Such fun to be around!

Lisa, our stunning bride with her equally as beautiful bridesmaids. Isn't that colour amazing?

Did someone say stunning?

Of course, there is so much more to share... but it's way to hard to pick favourites!
As soon as we select our next run of "must share" images we will post them for all to see.
Until then, take care and cross you fingers... for Kirrily! She is way overdue to have this precious baby of hers and we are all hoping that tonight will be the night! Good luck Kirrily!

Carley shoots a sweet Nitro Family
This morning I put on my"Nitro Concepts" cap and headed off to meet up with Belinda, Dave, baby James and Max the wonder dog! With clouds looming we didn't waste a second in our efforts to capture some happy family images. Obviously James is one of the happiest babies on the planet! It's no wonder, though, as Dave and Belinda are amongst the most relaxed and easy going parents I have come across! I hope you are happy with the images guys, and I can't wait to see how these look as Art Mounts...

Young Love is Sweet...
There are so many reasons why families decide it's time to gather for family portraits. For the Peel family it was all about young love! Daniel and his girlfriend Sarah are celebrating their first anniversary as a couple and with Daniel joining the army soon they wanted to capture some special portraits to treasure during their time apart. These two were just the sweetest pair to work with, and I simply adored Sarah's cute and sassy style!

Of course, the opportunity to update the family portraits was too good to miss and so the whole Peel family came along as well. Let me tell you, the Peels are doing something right. They have raised 3 charming, funny and down right cool young men who made this shoot so much fun! I can't wait to share some more images of these boys being... well, boys!
Not only was this a super fun shoot for me, but is was also a chance for me to catch up with Judy, a woman I have admired and looked up to ever since I was a teenager. I learnt so much about motherhood whilst working alongside this beautiful lady in a pharmacy many years ago. Thanks for the life lessons Judy - I will be one proud mummy if my boys grow up to be as happy, confident and loving as yours obviously are!
